Amy Fisher, CMP

Owner/President

Amy lays the foundation for Fisher Events. Her ability to combine beauty with operations is both surprising and unique. Her vision for Fisher Events has grown a company that reflects her love for giving back and charitable causes with an emphasis on veteran and military non-profits.

Amy brings an extensive experience in non-profit and special event leadership, organizational development, and project management. She specializes in integrating practical operational requirements with strong governance practices and is known for her sound analysis of the unique challenges faced by organizing committees. She has long pioneered operational integration between organizing committees and the various private and governmental stakeholders with a great legacy of success.

Her event management background has included VIP Protocol, Media Relations, Sponsorship & Marketing, Government Relations, Event Design, Volunteer Management and Transportation. Clients include countless veteran and healthcare committees and non-profits, National Memorial Day Parade Committee, Republican National Committee, World Police and Fire Games, Friends of the National WWII Memorial, Donate Life Texas, Center for Disease Control International and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Paul Winston

Paul has held a senior role in almost every major international sporting event held in North America over the past 30 years.

Paul’s sports event resume includes 5 Olympic Games, 3 Super Bowls, World Cup Soccer, the Pan American Games, Goodwill Games, Senior Olympics, and numerous other events in North and South America. 

On the Political side of the event world Paul has worked with the Host Committees of the G8 Summit, the OAS Summit of the Americas, the 2004, 2012 & 2016 Democratic Convention, 2013 & 2017 Presidential Inauguration, the Grand Opening of the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library and numerous Presidential Summits for the U.S. State Department. 

Paul has also served as the Executive Producer of the 2006 NBA All Star Game Festival at the Main Event, the 2005 Big XXII Football Championship Fan Festival, 2005 Houston Astros’ World Series Viewing Parties and the Houston New Year’s Eve Celebration. 

Paul and Amy have been business partners for the past 8 years. With their partnership, they have managed and produced over 30 large-scale, high profile events, including the Opening Ceremonies of the World Police and Fire Games and the Emmy-winning Veterans Award Show - "American Valor - A Salute to Our Heroes."

 

John Welsh

John has held positions on numerous large-scale European and U.S. festivals and event management teams. He most recently held the position as credential manager for the world's largest marathon - 2016 TCS New York City Marathon. John's expertise is in VIP  and international event management. From his experience designing and managing countless international luxury destination tours, John has developed a keen sense of fun and creative way to communicate clearly with clients and VIPs. 

John specializes in building strong operational relationships with stakeholders, working closely with organizing committees, clients, and local authorities to incorporate all relevant perspectives into sound delivery. John is known in the industry for his diplomacy, efficiency, and charm. His specialties are in VIP management, destination event management, client services, and staff and volunteer recruitment and training.
